THIRD DISTRICT MEETING SCHEDULE

Third District SAL Commander Kevin DeRusso has scheduled the first 3rd District meeting of the new administrative year.

It will be held on Saturday, October 8, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am on board the USS Slater in Albany. Meet at 8:15am in the Slater parking lot.

Following the meeting, there will be a guided tour of the ship for our group. For anyone interested in staying for the tour, there is a $6 donation per person.

The USS Slater is a US Navy Destroyer Escort ship from WWII. It is the last Destroyer Escort ship still on water. It is now a floating museum along the Hudson River in downtown Albany.

The 3rd District SAL will be making a donation to the USS Slater for providing us space for our meeting and for their time.

If you are planning to attend this very special meeting of the Third District Sons please inform myself or District Commander Kevin DeRusso. We would like to have an approximate head count ahead of time. Also, please let us know if you plan on taking the tour, or just attending the meeting.

This meeting is open to all SAL members throughout the 3rd District.
